Alana Wellington. is a budding writer whose manuscript made it into the semifinal round of this year's Munce Writing Contest. The Remnant is the first in a series of books called The Breach Repairer. It tells the story of an anthropology graduate student who ends up picking an unusual topic for her master's thesis. As she starts her research journey, she also starts a labrynthine personal journey. In the midst of the upheaval, she gets an opportunity that grants her adventure and discovery.
